Dursley's main shopping street is an interesting place, a couple of cafes, bike shop, Specialist camera shop, a specialist guitar shop, speciality butchers, a good old fashioned ironmongers and I don't mean that as a joke, it's great (DIY to those not of a certain age). And an assortment of other outlets worth a browse.
At one end is the Kings Head. Recently refurbished and is now a smart, approachable and offering good food and drink kind of place, frankly what else do you need from a dining pub.
It's on the Cotswolds Way, the old Town Hall is next door and the local swimming pool is round the back.
