A 5 day event, one of only six annual Concours Complet International (CCI) Five Star ***** events as classified by the Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI) in the world. It takes place in April or May each year in the park of Badminton House, the seat of the Duke of Beaufort in South Gloucestershire. The Cross Country day can attract up to 250,000 visitors. Stroud Book Festival, which celebrates its 5th birthday this year, is delighted to announce that the 2020 Festival will take place from Wednesday 4th to Sunday 8th November at venues across Stroud.
The full Stroud Book Festival line-up will be revealed this summer.
It’s a charity bringing the best of music, poetry, drama, art and dance to Stroud and the Five Valleys with a local focus encouraging home-grown talent. Est in 1946, it’s the ‘grandfather’ of the festivals in the area. They recently established a Children’s Festival too.
